Alwaysensurethatthechainbrakesystem
isworkingproperlybeforeyouoperatethe
chainsaw.
Avoidtouchingobjectstobecutwiththe
noseofthechainsawguidebar.
Thereare2typesofkickback:
Afastupwardmotionofthechainsawthatresults
whenthechainatthenoseortopofthebar
contactsanobject
Afastbackwardmotionofthechainsawthat
resultswhenthechainatthenoseortopofthebar
ispinchedbytheobjectbeingcut

5.Ensurethatthesawchainisrotatingatfull
speedbeforestartingacut.
6.Cutwiththewoodneartherearoftheguidebar,
closetothebuckingteeth;pressthechainsaw
lightlyagainstthewoodandallowtheweightof
thechainsawtodrivethecutting.
