Removethebatterypackbeforeadjusting
ormaintainingthechainsaw.
Alwaysweargloveswhenadjustingor
maintainingthechainsaw.
1.Placethechainsawonaatsurfaceand
removethebatterypack;refertoRemovingthe
BatteryPack(page17).
2.Removethesidecoverbylooseningthe2
captivenutsthatsecurethecover(Figure31).
Note:Thecaptivenutsdonotseparatefrom
thesidecover;loosenthemuntilthecovercan
beremoved.

Ensurethattheoilchannelinthebarthataligns
withtheoiloutletonthechainsawiscleanso
thatoilcanowfreelytothechain(Figure33).
