excessivewearordamageandreplacethemas
needed;refertoServicingtheGuideBar,Chain,
andDriveSprocket(page17)andSharpeningthe
Chain(page19).
•Checktheoillevel;refertoCheckingtheOilLevel
andAddingBarandChainOil(page16).
•Checkthechainbrake;refertoCheckingthe
ChainBrake(page16).
StartingtheChainSaw
1.Makesurethattheventsonthechainsaw
(Figure5andFigure6)arefreefromdustand
debris.
