Tostopthechainsaw,releasethetriggerswitch.
Cutting
1.Gripthechainsawwithtwohandsasshownin(Figure11).
Note:Keepingyourleftarmstraightwithyourelbow
lockedwillhelpreduceanykickback.

2.Standonsolid,evengroundinfrontofthewoodtobecut.
3.Pressthechainsawlightlyagainstthewood,allowingthe
weightofthechainsawtodrivethecutting.
4.Keepsteadypressureonthechainsawthroughoutthecut,
andonlyreleasepressureneartheendofthecut.
Pruning
1.Beforepruning,ensurethatallbystandersareawayfromthe
areawherebranchesmayfall.
2.Gripthechainsawasshownin(Figure11).
3.Forsmallbranches,applylightpressuretothebranchto
becut.
4.Forlargerbranches,makeashallowundercutandthen
completethecutfromthetopsideofthebranch.

1.Beforestartingthefellingprocess,determineanappropriate
