Alwaysweargloveswhenperformingany
adjustmentsofmaintenancetothechainsaw.
Checkthechaintensionbypullingthechainaroundtheblade
barusingaglovedhand.
Note:Thechainshouldmovesmoothlyaroundtheblade
barwhenpulledbyhand,andshouldremainincontactwith
theundersideofthebar(Figure29).
Ifthechaintensionneedstobeadjusted,performthefollowing
steps:
1.Placethechainsawonalevelsurface.
2.Loosenthe2nutsonthecoverwithoutremovingthecover
(Figure29).
