MotorStopandChainBrake
Whenthebatteryisatriskofoverheatingorthebatteryis
deliveringahighamperage,themotorwillstoptopreventany
damagetothebattery,andthelightwillash(Figure7).
Releasethetriggerswitch,thenpressthetriggerswitch.Ifthe
motordoesnotstart,allowthebatterytocoolbeforecontinuing
operation.
Note:Removingthebatteryfromthechainsawmayhelp
thebatterytocooldownquicker.

Afastupwardmotionofthechainsawthatoccurswhenthe
chainatthenoseortopofthebar(Figure8)contactsan
object.
Afastbackwardmotionofthechainsawthatoccurswhen
thechainatthenoseortopofthebar(Figure8)ispinched
bytheobjectbeingcut.

Whenkickbackoccurs,thehandguardmovesforwardtothestop
position(Figure9),activatingthechainbrakethatstopsthechain
andmotor.
Note:Itissafepracticetoactivatethechainbrakewhen
transportingthechainsaw .
