Operation Operating the Trimmer To Advance the Cutting Line See Figure 16b. WARNING: Always hold the string trimmer away from the body, keeping clearance between the body and the product. Tap the retaining cap lightly on the ground while the motor is running. The line will only advance with the engine at full throttle.

Maintenance Cleaning the Spark Arrester Checking the Fuel Cap See Figure 22. WARNING: A leaking fuel cap is a fire hazard and must be replaced immediately. The spark arrester may need to be replaced after repeated use. If replacement is necessary, use Toro part number 6300210. The fuel cap contains a non-serviceable filter and check valve. A clogged fuel filter causes poor engine performance. If performance improves when the fuel cap is loosened, the check valve may be faulty or the filter may be clogged.
Maintenance Replacing the Spark Plug Storing the Product See Figure 23. All model numbers included in this manual use an Champion RZ7C spark plug. Use an exact replacement and replace annually. Storing the product differs depending on the amount of time it will be in storage. 1. Remove the spark plug boot. Note: If the product includes another attachment, place the hanger cap on the end of the attachment shaft and hang it up to store. 2.

La tapa del tanque de combustible contiene un filtro y una válvula de retención a los que no puede darse servicio. Si se obstruye el filtro de combustible causa un desempeño deficiente del motor.

Utilisation AVERTISSEMENT : Des débris peuvent être projetés par l’outil en fonctionnement et blesser l’opérateur ou les autres personnes présentes. Utilisation Utilisation du taille-bordures AVERTISSEMENT : Toujours tenir le taille-bordures à l’écart de soi en maintenant une distance de sécurité entre le corps et l’équipement. Tout contact avec le boîtier ou avec la tête de coupe du taille-bordures peut causer des brûlures et / ou d’autres blessures graves. Entretien Vérification du bouchon du réservoir de carburant AVERTISSEMENT : Un bouchon de carburant qui fuit pose un risque d’incendie et doit être remplacé immédiatement. Le bouchon du réservoir de carburant contient un filtre et un clapet antiretour non réparables. Un filtre à carburant colmaté nuit au bon fonctionnement du moteur. Si le fonctionnement du moteur s’améliore lorsque le bouchon est desserré, le clapet antiretour peut être défectueux ou le filtre colmaté.
Entretien Remplacement de la bougie Remisage Voir la figure 23. Tous les outils dont le numéro de modèle est inclus dans ce manuel utilisent une bougie Champion RZ7C. La bougie doit être remplacée annuellement par une bougie identique. Pour remplacer la bougie, procéder comme suit. 1. Retirer le capuchon de la bougie. 2. Desserrer la bougie en la tournant vers la gauche, à l’aide d’une clé à douille. 3. Retirer la bougie. 4. Visser la nouvelle bougie à la main en la tournant vers la droite. 5.
