Replacethebladeswhenthemachinehitsasolid
objectorifthebladesaredamagedorbent.Useonly
genuineT ororeplacementblades.
WARNING
Thebladesandtinesaresharp;contactinga
bladeortinecanresultinseriouspersonal
injury.
Wearpaddedgloveswhenworkingwiththe
shaftassembly.
WARNING
Awornordamagedbladecanbreak,anda
pieceofthebladecouldbethrowntowardyou
orbystanders,resultinginseriouspersonal
injury.
•Inspectthebladesperiodicallyforwearor
damage.
•Replaceawornordamagedblade.
Note:Maintainsharpblades;sharpbladeshelp
themachinerunsmoothlyandcutcleanlywithout
excessivelytearingorshreddingtheturf.
1.RefertoPreparingforMaintenance(page18).
2.Tipthemachineontoitsleftsideuntiltheupper
handlerestsontheground.
Important:Beforetippingthemachineto
inspectorreplacetheblades,allowthefuel
tanktorundrythroughnormaluse.Ifyou
musttipthemachinepriortorunningout
offuel,useahandfuelpumptoremove
thefuel.Tipthemachineontoitsleftside
(exhaustguarddown,oillterup)sothatoil
doesnotleakintotheairlter.
3.Inspectthescarierrollershaftforbentor
damagedbladesinneedofreplacement,ifany
needtobereplacedcontactyourAuthorized
ServiceDealer.
4.Removeanygrassordebristhatmaybe
wrappedaroundtheendsoftheshaftassembly.
