TowVehicleRequirements
Beforeconnectingthemachinetoyourtowvehicle,
ensurethatyourvehicleispreparedasfollows:
Ensurethatyourtowvehiclehastowing
capacityfortheweightofthemachine;referto
Specications(page17).
UseaClass2orlargerreceiver.
Ensurethatyourtowvehiclehastheappropriate
hitchtotowthemachine;optionsincludea50mm
(2inch)ballhitchorapintlehitch.
Ifthemachineisequippedwithatrailer-lightkit,
ensurethattheelectricalconnectorofthetow
vehicleiscompatiblewiththeelectricalconnector
ofthemachine.Themachineusesastandard
4-pin,atplug.Ifyourtowvehiclehasadifferent
typeofplug,obtainanadapterfromanautomotive
partsstore.
PreparingtheMachineforTowing
1.Shutofftheengineandfuelvalve.
2.Emptythedrum.
3.Positionthedruminthemixposition(upright)
andlockit.
4.Closetheenginecowlandsecurethecowl
latches(Figure16).
