•TheclutchleverisintheOFFposition.
•Thepaddlesdonotrotateinanemptydrum
whiletheengineisrunning.
AligningthePulleys
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandshut
offtheengine.
2.Allowthemachinetocool.
3.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug;referto
DisconnectingtheSpark-PlugWire(page29).
4.Removethedividerplate;refertoRemovingthe
DividerPlate(page29).
5.Placeastraightedgeacrossthefaceofthe
enginepulleyandidlerpulley(Figure71).
