appropriateweatherconditions.Donotoperate
themachinewhenthereistheriskoflightning.
Donotrunanengineinanenclosedorpoorly
ventilatedarea.
Engineexhaustcontainscarbonmonoxide,which
islethalifinhaled.Donotruntheengineindoors
orinanenclosedarea.
Alwaysshutofftheengineandwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingthemachine.
Useonlyaccessoriesandattachmentsapproved
byT oro.
StartingtheEngine
1.EnsurethattheclutchleverisintheOFF
position.
2.MovethefuelvalvetotheOPENposition,allthe
waytotheright(Figure24).
