Usethechokelever(Figure11)tostartacoldengine.
Beforepullingtherecoil-starthandle,movethechoke
levertotheCLOSEDposition.Oncetheengineis
running,movethechokelevertotheOPENposition.
Donotusethechokeiftheengineisalreadywarmed
uporiftheairtemperatureishigh.
ThrottleLever
Thethrottlelever(Figure11)controlsthespeed(rpm)
oftheengine.Itislocatednexttothechokelever.It
setstheenginespeedandthereforecanincreaseand
decreasetherotationspeedofthemixingpaddles.
Forbestperformance,setthiscontroltotheFAST
positionwhenmixingmaterial.
EngineOn/OffSwitch
TheOn/Offswitchislocatedonthefrontoftheengine.
•RotateittotheONpositiontostartandrunthe
engine.
•RotateittotheOFFpositiontoshutofftheengine.
