ratiosofthese4ingredients.Thetypicalratiofor
mixingconcreteis1partPortlandcement,2parts
sand,and3partsgravel.
Therearemanyvariationsofconcretemixrecipes,
dependingontheapplication.Itisimportanttouse
theappropriatequantityofwater.Usingtoolittlewater
resultsindryareasinthemix,butusingtoomuch
waterresultsinweakerconcrete.Theamountofwater
neededvariesdependingonmoisturecontentofthe
sandandgravel.Themixshouldhaveathickness
similartopeanutbutter.
