WARNING
Oilmaybehotaftertheenginehasbeenrun,and
contactwithhotoilcancauseseverepersonalinjury.
Avoidcontactingthehotengineoilwhenyoudrain
it.
1.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug;referto
DisconnectingtheSpark-plugWire(page28).
3.Placeadrainpanundertheoil-drainholeoftheengine
(Figure45).

4.Removethedrainplugandcatchtheoilintheoil-drain
pan(Figure45).
5.Whentheoilhasdrainedcompletely,installthedrain
plugwithanewwasher(Figure45).

6.Removethedipstick(Figure46)andslowlypouroil
intothellholeuntiltheoilreachestheupper-limit
mark(bottomedgeoftheoil-llhole)onthedipstick.
