Parkingthemachineonagradeshouldbeavoidedifpossible.
Ifthemachinemustbeparkedonagrade,parkitataright
angletotheslope,applytheparkingbrakeandblockthe
wheels,ifnecessary.
ParkingtheMachineforaLongTerm
1.Parkthemachineoutofmaintrafcareasandsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Whenthemachinewillbeoutofuseforalongperiod
oftime,tiltthehopperupsowater,snow,anddebris
willnotcollectinside.
3.Coverthedumpcylindershafttopreventcorrosion.
MovingtheMachinewithout
EnginePower
Themachinecanbemovedashortdistanceiftheenginedoes
notrun.Thetransmissionfeaturesabypassvalve(Figure10).
Rotatethebypassvalvecounterclockwisetotowthe
machine.
Rotatethebypassvalveclockwisetooperatethemachine
normally.

TransportingtheMachine
Whentransportingthemachineonatrailer,alwaysusethe
followingprocedure:
Important:Donotoperateordrivethemachineon
roadways.
1.Stoptheengineandapplytheparkingbrake.
2.Whentransportingthemachine,observeoverallheight
forproperclearanceofobstaclesoverhead.
3.Makesurethehopperisloweredandlatcheddown.
4.Securethemachinewiththeproperdevicesatthe
tie-downloop.
