rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,thentighten
thelteranadditional3/4turn.
7.Cleanupanyspilleduid.
8.Starttheengineandletitrunforabouttwominutesto
purgeairfromthesystem.
9.Stoptheengineandcheckforleaks.
10.Checktheuidlevelinthehydraulictank,referto
CheckingtheHydraulicFluidLevel(page13).
Note:Donotoverllthehydraulictank.
11.Installthecowlandsecurethelatches.

2.Unlatchandremovethecowl(Figure17andFigure18).
3.Allowthemachinetocoolcompletely.
4.Removethehydraulictankbreather/llercap(Figure
33).
CAUTION
Thehydraulicbreather/llercapisdesigned
topressurizethereservoirto34kPa(5psi).
Loosenthecapslowlytoavoidinjurywhenever
addingoilorworkingonthehydraulicsystem.
Useawrenchonthehexdirectlyunderthe
cap.

rst)—Replaceallmovinghydraulichoses.
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.Fluidinjectedinto
theskinmustbesurgicallyremovedwithinafew
hoursbyadoctorfamiliarwiththisformofinjury,
organgrenemayresult.
Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks;
neveruseyourhands.
