DANGER

Donotoperatethemachinewithoutthecovers

Keepngers,handsandclothingclearof
rotatingfananddriveshaft.
Shutofftheengineandremovetheignitionkey
beforeperformingmaintenance.
CleaningCoolingSystem
ServiceInterval:Every40hours—Cleanthecoolingsystem.
Cleanthecoolingsystemateachscheduledmaintenance.
Performthefollowingstepstocleantheairinletscreensand
enginecoolingnsofthecoolingsystem:
1.Washthemachinewithsoapywater.
2.Rinseoffmudanddirtwithwater.
3.Blowoffdirtanddebrisfromtheenginewith
pressurizedair(30psimaximum).
HydraulicSystem
Maintenance
ReplacingtheHydraulicFilter
RemovingtheHydraulicFilter
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst50hours—Replacethe
hydrauliclter.
Every100hours—Replacethehydrauliclterorwhen
thehydraulic-ltergaugeindicatesCaution(yellow)or
ServiceFilter(red).
DANGER
Thebreather/capisdesignedtopressurizethe
hydraulictankto34.5kPa(5psi).Built-uppressure
cancauseinjury.
Loosenthecapslowlywheneveraddinguidor
maintainingthehydraulicsystem.
CAUTION
Built-uphydraulicpressurecancausepersonal
injuryorburns.
Beforedisconnectinganyhydrauliclines,besure
theengineisoffandrelieveallpressurefromthe
hydraulicsystem.
Important:Donotsubstituteanautomotiveoillteror
severehydraulicsystemdamagemayresult.

1.Opentherearhood.
2.Bleedthepressurefromthehydraulictankasfollows:
A.Placearagoverthehydraulictankbreather/cap,
andslowlyturnthecapcounterclockwiseto
removethebreather/cap(Figure73).
Note:Thetankpressurewillventtothe
atmosphere.
