ServicingtheFuses
Theelectricalsystemisprotectedby3fuses.Theelectrical
systemtypicallyrequiresnomaintenance;however,ifafuse
blows,checkthecomponent/circuitforamalfunctionora
short.Figure73showsthefusepositionsinthejunctionbox.
Note:Ifthemachinewillnotstart,eithertheECM
(electronic-controlmodule)ortheradio-controlreceiverfuse
couldbeopen(blown).
Servicethefusesasfollows:
1.Stoptheengineandremovethekey.
2.Opentherearhood;refertoOpeningtheHood(page
24).
3.Removethepositivebatterycablefromthebattery.
4.Locatethejunctionboxintherightsideofthe
compartment.
5.Removethe8boltsthatsecuretheauxiliarypanel
tothejunctionbox.Removetheauxiliarypaneland
gasket(
Figure73).
