Prepareforthecuttingoperationbydoingthefollowing:
1.RaisethesawbladetotheStartElevationandlock
thebladeelevationbyengagingtheindexpinofthe
crankhandlewithanindexholeintheoperatorpanel;
refertoAdjustingtheCuttingDepth(page14)and
LockingtheBladeElevation(page15).
2.Iftheforwardpointerisstowedintheupposition,
rotatetheextendedposition(Figure29).

6.Adjusttheenginespeedasfollows:

MAXposition.
•Model68046—Movethethrottlecontroltothe
Fastposition.
7.Ifwetsawing,rotatethehandleofthewatershutoff
valvetotheOnposition(
