RemovingtheSparkPlug
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceandturnoffthe
engine;refertoStoppingtheEngine(page19).
2.Ensurethatthemachinesurfacesarecool.
3.Pullthesparkplugwireofftheterminalofthespark
plug(Figure44).

1.Lookatthecenterofthesparkplug(Figure45).Ifyou
seelightbrownorgrayontheinsulator,theengineis
operatingproperly.
Important:NeverCleanthesparkplug.Always
replacethesparkplugwhenithasablackcoating,
wornelectrodes,anoilylm,orcracks.
