DANGER
Incertainconditionsduringfueling,static
electricitycanbereleasedcausingasparkwhich
canignitethegasolinevapors.Areorexplosion
fromgasolinecanburnyouandothersandcan
damageproperty.
Alwaysplacethegasolinecontainersonthe
groundawayfromyourvehiclebeforelling.
Donotllgasolinecontainersinsideavehicleor
onatruckortrailerbedbecauseinteriorcarpets
orplastictruckbedlinersmayinsulatethe
containerandslowthelossofanystaticcharge.
Whenpractical,removegas-poweredequipment
fromthetruckortrailerandrefuelthemachine
ontheground.
Ifthisisnotpossible,thenrefuelsuch
equipmentonatruckortrailerfromaportable
container,ratherthanfromagasolinedispenser
nozzle.
Ifagasolinedispensernozzlemustbeused,
keepthenozzleincontactwiththerimofthe
fueltankorcontaineropeningatalltimesuntil
fuelingiscomplete.
WARNING
Gasolineisharmfulorfatalifswallowed.Long-term
exposuretovaporscancauseseriousinjuryand
illness.
Avoidprolongedbreathingofvapors.
Keepfaceawayfromnozzleandgastankor
fuel-containeropening.
Keepgasawayfromeyesandskin.
Important:Donotmixoilwiththefuel.

UsingFuelStabilizer/Conditioner
Useafuelstabilizer/conditionerinthemachinetokeepthe
fuelfreshduringstorage.
Important:Donotusefueladditivescontaining
methanolorethanol.
Addthecorrectamountoffuelstabilizer/conditionertothe
fuel,andfollowthedirectionsofthemanufacturerofthe
stabilizer.
Note:Fuelstabilizer/conditionerismosteffectivewhen
mixedwithfreshgasoline.Tominimizethechanceofvarnish
depositsinthefuelsystem,usefuelstabilizeratalltimes.
FillingtheFuelTank
Fueltankcapacity:3.1L(0.82USgallon)
Important:Theunusedspaceinthetankallowsthe
gasolinetoexpandwithchangesintemperature.Donot
llthefueltankcompletelyfull.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,stoptheengine,
andallowtheenginetocool.
2.Cleanaroundthefuelcapandremoveit(Figure12).
