Operation
•Neverrunanengineinanenclosedarea.
•Onlyoperatethemachineingoodlight.
•Onlystarttheenginefromtheoperator'sposition.
•Neveroperatewiththeguardsnotsecurelyinplace.
•Donotchangetheenginegovernorsettingoroverspeed
theengine.
•Stoponlevelgroundandshutofftheenginebefore
leavingtheoperator'spositionforanyreason.
•Keeppetsandbystandersawaywhileoperatingthe
machine.
•Donotoperatethemachineundertheinuenceof
alcoholordrugs.
•Usecarewhenloadingorunloadingthemachineintoa
trailerortruck.
•Movetheenginecontrolsinasmooth,steadymotion.
•Watchfortrafcwhenoperatingonornearroadways.
•Donottouchpartswhichmaybehotfromoperation.
Allowthemtocoolbeforeattemptingtomaintain,adjust,
orservice.
•Ensurethatyouoperatethemachineinareaswherethere
arenoobstaclesincloseproximitytotheoperator.Only
operatetheunitinareaswherethereissufcientclearance
fortheoperatortosafelymaneuvertheproduct.
•Donotplaceyourfeetunderthemachineorscreed
boards.
•Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.Iflightning
isseenorthunderisheardinthearea,donotoperate
themachine;seekshelter.
MaintenanceandStorage
•Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovementtostopbefore
adjusting,cleaning,orrepairingthemachine.
•Cleandebrisfromthemuferandenginetohelpprevent
res.Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
•Lettheenginecoolbeforestoringthemachine,anddo
notstoreitnearanopename.
•Donotstorefuelnearamesordrainfuelfromthe
machineindoors.
•Neverallowuntrainedpersonneltoservicethemachine.
•Usejackstandstosupportmachinewhenrequired.
•Keephandsandfeetawayfrommovingparts.Ifpossible,
donotmakeadjustmentswiththeenginerunning.
•Keepallpartsingoodworkingcondition.Replaceall
wornordamageddecals.
•Keepallhardwareofthemachinetight.Keepthe
machineingoodcondition.
•Nevertamperwithsafetydevices.
•Whenpresent,cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
•Useextracarewhenhandlinggasolineandotherfuels.
Theyareammableandvaporsareexplosive.
–Storefuelinanapprovedcontainer.
–Donotremovethegascaporaddfuelwhilethe
engineisrunning.
–Allowtheenginetocoolbeforefuelingthemachine.
–Donotsmokewhilefuelingthemachine.
–Donotfuelthemachineindoors.
–Donotstorethemachineorfuelcontainerinside
wherethereisanopename,suchasnearawater
heaterorfurnace.
–Donotllacontainerwhileitisinsideavehicle,
trunk,pick-upbed,oranysurfaceotherthanthe
ground.
–Keepcontainernozzleincontactwiththetankduring
lling.
•Makeanynecessaryrepairstothemachinebeforestarting.
•UseonlygenuineTororeplacementpartstoensurethat
originalstandardsaremaintained.
