Setthethrottletoslow,stoptheengineandkeep
heat,sparks,andameaway.
Handlefuelonlyoutdoors.
Wipeupspillsimmediately.
Donotsmokewhilehandlingfuel.
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Movethefuelshut-offvalvetotheOffposition.
4.RemovethesedimentcupandO-ring(Figure22).

1.Removetheboltsholdingthebeltcoverinplace
(Figure23).
2.Loosentheenginemountingbolts.
3.Adjustthepositionoftheengineuntiltheproperbelt
tensionisobtained.
4.Tightentheenginemountingboltsandreplacethebelt
cover.
ServicingtheSparkPlug
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Inspect,clean,and
adjustthesparkplug;replaceitif
necessary.
Every200hours—Replacethesparkplug.
UseanNGKBPR6ESsparkplugorequivalent.
1.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Disconnectthewirefromthesparkplug.
3.Cleanaroundthesparkplug.
4.Removethesparkplugfromthecylinderhead.
