7. Center-punch the mark, and drill a 10 mm (3/8 inch) hole there (Figure 4). 3 Installing the Switch Installing the Engine Switch 1. Open the rear cowl. 2. Remove the divider plate; refer to the machine Operator’s Manual. Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Switch 1 Switch housing 1 Wire harness 2 Short bolt 2 Nut 1 Decal 3. Clip the switch into the switch housing (Figure 5). Ensure that the rounded end of the switch is toward the stop position on the switch housing.
