Important:Donottoworpullthemachinewithout
rstopeningthebypassvalvesinthisprocedure,
oryouwilldamagethehydraulicsystem.
Note:Openingthebypassvalveswilleasemoving
themachine,butthetracksmaystillskidduetotheir
lengthandresistance.
1.Ifpossible,raisethehopperandinstallthe
cylinderlock;refertoUsingtheCylinderLock
(page20).
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
3.Usingawrench,turnthebypassvalveontheleft
andrighttransaxlessothattheatsidesofthe
valvefaceleftandright(T owposition)asshown
inFigure14andFigure15.

TransportingtheMachine
Useaheavy-dutytrailerortruckwithfull-widthramps
totransportthemachine.Ensurethatthetraileror
truckhasallthenecessarybrakes,lighting,and
markingasrequiredbylaw.Pleasecarefullyreadall
thesafetyinstructions.Knowingthisinformationcould
helpyou,yourfamily,petsorbystandersavoidinjury.
Refertoyourlocalordinancesfortrailerandtie-down
requirements.
Important:Donotoperateordrivethemachine
onroadways.
1.Lowerthehopper.
2.Ifusingatrailer,connectittothetowingvehicle
andconnectthesafetychains.
3.Ifapplicable,connectthetrailerbrakes.
4.Carefullyloadthemachineontothetraileror
truck.
5.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andset
thebrake.
6.Usethemetaltie-downloopsonthemachineto
securelyfastenthemachinetothetrailerortruck
withstraps,chains,cable,orropes(Figure16).
