ServicingtheFuses
Theelectricalsystemisprotectedbyfusesand
requiresnomaintenance.Ifafuseblows,checkthe
componentorcircuitforamalfunctionorshort.
1.Releasethecushionfromtherearofthe
machine.
2.Pulloutthefusetoremoveorreplaceit(Figure
33).
3.Installthecushiontotherearofthemachine.
Note:Ensurethatthecorrect-sizefuseis
installed(Figure33).

ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Check
theconditionofthetrack.
Aftertherst10hours—Checkandadjustthe
tracktension(every10hoursuntil50hours).
Every50hours—Checkandadjustthetrack
tension.
Every300hours—Checktheroadwheels.
CleaningtheTracks
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,move
themotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK
position,engagetheparkingbrake,andlower
thehopper.
2.Shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.Allow
theenginetocool.
3.Lift/supportthesideofthemachinetobeworked
onsothatthetrackis3to4inches(7.6to10
cm)offtheground.
4.Usingawaterhoseorpressurewasher,remove
dirtfromeachtracksystem.
Important:Ensurethatyouusehigh-pressure
watertowashonlythetrackarea.Donotuse
ahigh-pressurewashertocleantherestofthe
machine.Donotusehigh-pressurewaterbetween
thedrivesprocketandthemachineoryoumay
damagethemotorseals.High-pressurewashing
candamagetheelectricalsystemandhydraulic
valvesordepletegrease.
Important:Ensurethatyoufullycleantheroad
wheels,thefrontwheel,andthedrivesprocket
(Figure34).Theroadwheelsshouldrotatefreely
whenclean.
