headlights.Thelightsonlyshinewhiletheengineisrunning
andtheswitchisOn.
OperatingtheBladeControl
(PTO)
Thebladecontrol(PTO)engagesanddisengagespowerto
theelectricclutch.
EngagingthePowerTakeOff(PTO)
1.Removeyourfootfromthetractorcontrolpedalto
stopthetractor.
2.Pullthebladecontrol(PTO)knobtotheOnposition
(Figure8).

Usetheheight-of-cutlevertoraiseandlowerthemowerto
thedesiredcuttingheight.Youcansettheheight-of-cutto
1of6positionsfromapproximately1-1/2to4inches(38
to102mm).
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Pullontheheight-of-cutleveronthetractorandmove
ittothedesiredposition(
Figure9).

2.ShiftthethrottlelevertoSlow(Figure10).
