Side-to-Side
Themowerbladesmustbelevelfromsidetoside.Checkthe
side-to-sidelevelwheneveryouinstallthemowerorlookfor
anunevencutonyourlawn.Beforeyoulevelthemower,set
theairpressureinthetirestotherecommendedlevel;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure.
1.Parkthetractoronalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
4.Movetheheight-of-cutleverintooneofthemiddle
notches.
5.Carefullyrotatethebladessidetoside(
Figure36).

Checkthefront-to-rearbladeslopewheneveryouinstallthe
mower.Beforeyouchecktheslope,settheairpressureinthe
tirestotherecommendedlevel;refertoCheckingtheTire
Pressure.Ifthefrontofthemowerisnotwithinarangeof
0to1/4inch(0to6mm)lowerthantherearofthemower,
adjustthebladeslopeasfollows:
1.Parkthetractoronalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
