CleaningtheEngineand

ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Cleanthe
engineandexhaustsystemarea.
Important:Donotusewatertocleantheengine.
Uselow-pressurecompressedair.Seetheengine
owner'smanual.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Openthehood.
4.Cleanalldebrisfromthehoodscreens.
5.Cleanaroundtheywheel,cylinderhead,
injectors,andinjectorpump.
6.Cleanalldebrisfromtheexhaustsystemarea.
7.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundthe
engineandexhaustarea.
CleaningtheMachineand
MowerDeck
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Cleanoffanyoil,debris,orgrassbuild-upon
themachineandmowerdeck,especiallyunder
thedeck-beltshields,aroundthefueltank,and
aroundtheengineandexhaustarea.
4.Raisethecenterdeckandwingdecks.Lock
eachwingdeckintheuprightposition.
5.Cleanoutanygrassbuild-upfromtheunderside
ofdeckandinthedischargedeector.
DisposingofWaste
Engineoil,batteries,hydraulicuid,andengine
coolantarepollutantstotheenvironment.Disposeof
theseaccordingtoyourstateandlocalregulations.
