Useaheavy-dutytrailerortrucktotransportthe
machine.Ensurethatthetrailerortruckhasall
necessarybrakes,lighting,andmarkingasrequired
bylaw.Pleasecarefullyreadallthesafetyinstructions.
Knowingthisinformationcouldhelpyou,yourfamily,
pets,orbystandersavoidinjury.
WARNING
Drivingonthestreetorroadwaywithout
turnsignals,lights,reectivemarkings,ora
slow-movingvehicleemblemisdangerous
andcanleadtoaccidentscausingpersonal
injury.
Donotdrivethemachineonapublicstreet
orroadway.
1.Ifusingatrailer,connectittothetowingvehicle
andconnectthesafetychains.
2.Ifapplicable,connectthetrailerbrakes.
3.Loadthemachineontothetrailerortruck.
4.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,setthe
brake,andclosethefuelvalve.
5.Securelyfastenthemachinetothetraileror
truckwithstraps,chains,cable,orropesdown
andoutwardfromthemachine.
LoadingtheMachine
Useextremecautionwhenloadingortheunloading
machineontoatraileroratruck.Useafull-widthramp
thatiswiderthanthemachineforthisprocedure.
Important:Ifafull-widthrampisnotavailable,
useenoughindividualrampstosimulatea
full-widthramp.
Ensurethattherampislongenoughsothattheangle
withthegrounddoesnotexceed15degrees.A
steeperanglemaycausemowercomponentstoget
caughtasthemachinemovesfromtheramptothe
trailerortruck.Steeperanglesmayalsocausethe
machinetotiporlosecontrol.Ifyouareloadingthe
machineonornearaslope,positionthetrailerortruck
sothatitisonthedownsideoftheslopeandtheramp
extendsuptheslope.Thisminimizestherampangle.
Important:Donotattempttoturnthemachine
whileontheramp,youmayloosecontroland
driveofftheside.
WARNING
Loadingamachineontoatrailerortruck
increasesthepossibilityofatip-overand
couldcauseseriousinjuryordeath.
•Useextremecautionwhenoperatinga
machineonaramp.
•Useonlyafull-widthramp;donotuse
individualrampsforeachsideofthe
machine.
•Ifafull-widthrampisnotavailable,use
enoughindividualrampstosimulatea
full-widthramp.
•Donotexceeda15-degreeanglebetween
therampandthegroundorbetweenthe
rampandthetrailerortruck.
•Avoidsuddenaccelerationordeceleration
whiledrivingthemachineonarampasthis
couldcausealossofcontroloratip-over.
