AdjustingtheHeight-of-Cut
Theheight-of-cutisadjustedfrom1-1/2to4-1/2inch
(38to114mm)in1/4inch(6mm)incrementsby
relocatingtheclevispinintodifferentholelocations.
1.Raisetheheight-of-cutlevertothetransport
position(alsothe4-1/2inch(114mm)cutting
heightposition)(Figure19).
2.Toadjust,removetheclevispinfromthe
height-of-cutbracket(Figure19).
3.Selectaholeintheheight-of-cutbracket
correspondingtotheheight-of-cutdesiredand,
inserttheclevispin(Figure19).
4.Movethelevertotheselectedheight.

Rollers
Wheneveryouchangetheheight-of-cut,itis
recommendedtoadjusttheheightoftheanti-scalp
rollers.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrol
leverstotheneutrallockedpositionandsetthe
parkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Afteradjustingtheheight-of-cut,adjusttherollers
byremovingtheangenut,bushing,spacer,and
bolt(Figure20,Figure21andFigure50).
Note:Thetwomiddlerollerswillnothaveaspacer
(Figure21).
4.Selectaholesotheanti-scalprollerispositionedto
thenearestcorrespondingheight-of-cutdesired.
5.Installtheangenutbushing,spacer,andbolt.
Torqueto40-45ft-lb(54-61N•m)(Figure20,
Figure21andFigure50).
6.Repeatthisadjustmentontheotheranti-scalp
rollers.
