15.Applyathread-lockingcompoundtothesecond
spacernutandthreaditontotheaxlewiththe
wrenchatsfacingoutward.
16.Torquethenutto8to9N∙m(75to80in-lb),
loosenthenut,thentorqueitto2to3N∙m(20
to25in-lb).
Note:Makesurethattheaxledoesnotextend
beyondeithernut.
17.Installthesealguardsoverthewheelhuband
insertwheelintothecasterfork.
18.Installthecasterboltandtightenthenutfully.
Important:Topreventsealandbearingdamage,
checkthebearingadjustmentoften.Spinthe
castertire.Thetireshouldnotspinfreely(more
than1or2revolutions)orhaveanysideplay.If
thewheelspinsfreely,adjustthetorqueonthe
spacernutuntilthereisaslightamountofdrag.
Applyanotherlayerofthread-lockingcompound.
