Cleaning
WashingtheUndersideofthe

housing.
Washtheundersideofthemoweraftereachusetoprevent
grassbuildupforimprovedmulchactionandclipping
dispersal.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewithmild
detergentandwater.Donotpressurewashthemachine.
Avoidexcessiveuseofwater,especiallynearthecontrol
panel,engine,hydraulicpumps,andmotors.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethe
blade-controlswitch.
2.Movethemotion-controlleversoutwardtothePARK
position,shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Attachthehosecouplingtotheendofthemower
washouttting,andturnthewateronhigh(Figure70).
Note:Spreadpetroleumjellyonthewashouttting
O-ringtomakethecouplingslideoneasierandprotect
theO-ring.
