dispersesclippingstothesideanddowntowardthe
turf.

Withoutagrassdeector,dischargecover,or
acompletegrass-catcherassemblymounted
inplace,youandothersareexposedtoblade
contactandthrowndebris.Contactwith
rotatingmowerblade(s)andthrowndebris
willcauseinjuryordeath.
Neverremovethegrassdeectorfromthe
mowerdeckbecausethegrassdeector
routesmaterialdowntowardtheturf.Ifthe
grassdeectoriseverdamaged,replaceit
immediately.
Neverputyourhandsorfeetunderthe
mowerdeck.
Nevertrytoclearthedischargearea
ormowerbladesunlessyoumovethe
blade-controlswitch(PTO)totheOFF
position,rotatethekeyswitchtotheOFF
position,andremovethekeyfromthekey
switch.
Makesurethatthegrassdeectorisinthe
downposition.
