topreventsomeonefromaccidentallystartingtheengine

variablesettingfromSlowtoFast(Figure5).
ChokeControl
PullupontheChokecontroluntilitstopstochokethe
engine(Figure5).PushdownontheChokecontrolfor
normalengineoperation
BladeControlSwitch(PowerTake-off)
Thebladecontrolswitch,representedbyapowertake-off
(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespowertothemower
blades(Figure5).
Motion-ControlLeversandPark
Position
Themotion-controlleversarespeedsensitivecontrolsof
independentwheelmotors.Movingaleverforwardor
backwardturnsthewheelonthesamesideforwardorin
reverse;wheelspeedisproportionaltotheamountthelever
ismoved.Movethecontrolleversoutwardfromthecenter
totheparkpositionandexitthemachine(Figure14).Always
positionthemotion-controlleversintotheparkposition
whenyoustopthemachineorleaveitunattended.
SmartSpeedControlSystemLever
TheSmartSpeed™Control-Systemlever,locatedbelowthe
operatingposition,givestheoperatorachoicetodrivethe
machineat3speedranges—trim,tow ,andmow(Figure6).
