reservoiruntiloilcomesoutoftheremaining
ventplugholeonthesecondtransmission.Stop
andinstallthatventplug.T orquetheplugto180
in-lb(20.3N-m).
7.Continuetoaddoilthroughtheexpansion
reservoiruntilitreachestheFullColdlineonthe
expansionreservoir.
8.ProceedtotheBleedingtheHydraulicSystem
section.
Important:FailuretoperformtheBleeding
theHydraulicSystemprocedureafter
changinghydraulicltersandoilcanresult
inirreparabledamagetothetransaxledrive
system.
BleedingtheHydraulicSystem
1.Entertheoperator'sposition.Startengine
andmovethrottlecontrolaheadto1/2throttle
position.Disengageparkingbrake.
A.Movethebypassleversintothepushing
themachineposition;refertothePushing
theMachinebyHandsectioninOperation.
Withthebypassvalvesopenandtheengine
running,slowlymovethemotioncontrol
leversinbothforwardandreverse(5or6
times).
B.Movethebypassleversintotheoperating
themachineposition.Withthebypassvalve
closedandtheenginerunning,slowlymove
thedirectionalcontrolinbothforwardand
reversedirections(5to6times).
C.Stoptheengineandchecktheoillevelin
theexpansionreservoir.Addthespecied
oilasuntilitreachestheFullColdlineon
theexpansionreservoir.
2.Repeatstep1untilalltheairiscompletely
purgedfromthesystem.
Whenthetransaxleoperatesatnormalnoise
levelsandmovessmoothlyforwardand
reverseatnormalspeeds,thenthetransaxleis
consideredpurged.
3.Checktheoillevelintheexpansionreservoir
onelasttime.Addthespeciedoilasuntilit
reachestheFullColdlineontheexpansion
reservoirifnecessary.
