MOWER DECK
Mower Belt Replacement
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the engine, wait for all moving parts to stop,
and remove key. Engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery terminals.
3. Lower the mower deck to the 3 in. (76 mm) height-of-cut position.
4. Remove the bolts from the covers and lift covers off the deck (Figure 3).
5. Using a spring removal tool (Toro Part No. 92-5771) remove the spring tension from the idler pulley (Figure 4).
6. Lower the deck to the lowest height of cut position and secure the pin to lock in position.
7. Remove the belt from the deck pulleys and the clutch pulley.
