7.Pryoutsealsandinspectbearingsforwearordamage
andreplaceifnecessary.
8.Packthebearingswithageneral-purposegrease.
9.Insert1bearingand1newsealintothewheel.
Note:Thesealsmustbereplaced.
10.Iftheaxleassemblyhashadbothspacernutsremoved
(orbrokenloose),applyathread-lockingadhesiveto1
spacernut,andthreaditontotheaxlewiththewrench
atsfacingoutward.
Note:Donotthreadthespacernutalloftheway
ontotheendoftheaxle.Leaveapproximately3mm
(1/8inch)fromtheoutersurfaceofthespacernutto
theendoftheaxleinsidethenut.
11.Inserttheassemblednutandaxleintothewheelonthe
sideofthewheelwiththenewsealandbearing.
12.Withtheopenendofthewheelfacingup,llthearea
insidethewheelaroundtheaxlefullofgeneral-purpose
grease.
13.Insertthesecondbearingandnewsealintothewheel.
