CheckingforBentBlades
1.Disengagethebladecontrolswitch(PTO),movethe
motioncontrolleverstotheneutrallockedposition
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Rotatethebladesuntiltheendsfaceforwardand
backward(Figure95).Measurefromalevelsurfaceto
thecuttingedge,positionA,oftheblades(Figure95).

Alwaysreplacebentordamagedblade
withanewblade.
Neverleorcreatesharpnotchesinthe
edgesorsurfacesofblade.
RemovingtheBlades
Bladesmustbereplacedifasolidobjectishit,ifthebladeis
outofbalanceorisbent.Toensureoptimumperformance
andcontinuedsafetyconformanceofthemachine,use
genuineTororeplacementblades.Replacementbladesmade
byothermanufacturersmayresultinnon-conformancewith
safetystandards.

2.Removethebladebolt,curvedwasher,andbladefrom
thespindleshaft(Figure96).
