Mounttheskidinthelowerpositionwhenoperatinginheight
ofcutshigherthan64mm(2-1/2inches)andinthehigher
positionwhenoperatinginheightofcutslowerthan64mm
(2-1/2inches).
1.Raisethedecktothe14cm(5-1/2inches)height-of-cut
position(alsoknownasthetransportposition).
2.Removeanddiscardtheziptiesfromtheright-hand
skid.
3.Movetheskidtothedesiredpositionandsecureitwith
3carriagebolts(3/8-16x2-1/4inches)and3nyloc
nuts(3/8inch)asshownin
Figure1.
4.Topreventdamagingtheskid,torquethecarriagebolts
andnutsfortheskidto12.4to14.7N-m(110to130
in-lb).
