YoumustmaintainyourT oroProductbyfollowingthemaintenanceprocedures
describedintheOperator’sManual.Suchroutinemaintenance,whetherperformedby
adealerorbyyou,isatyourexpense.Partsscheduledforreplacementasrequired
maintenance(“MaintenanceParts”),arewarrantedfortheperiodoftimeuptothe
scheduledreplacementtimeforthatpart.Failuretoperformrequiredmaintenance
andadjustmentscanbegroundsfordisallowingawarrantyclaim.

Notallproductfailuresormalfunctionsthatoccurduringthewarrantyperiodare
defectsinmaterialsorworkmanship.Thisexpresswarrantydoesnotcoverthe
following:
•Costofregularmaintenanceorparts,suchasfuel,lubricants,oilchanges,
cable/linkageadjustments,lters,sparkplugs,airlters,bladesharpeningor
wornblades,orbrakeandclutchadjustments
•Componentsfailingduetonormalwear
•Anyproductorpartthathasbeenaltered,misused,neglected,requires
replacementorrepairduetoaccidentsorlackofpropermaintenance
•Pickupanddeliverychargesunlessotherwisespecied
•RepairsorattemptedrepairsbyanyoneotherthananAuthorizedT oroService

•Failuretofollowthefuelinginstructionsandrequirements(consulttheOperator's
Manualfordetails),suchas:
–Useofoldfuel(morethan1monthold)orfuelwhichcontainsmorethan
10%ethanolormorethat15%MTBE
–Failuretodrainthefuelsystempriortoanyperiodofnon-useover1month
–Improperfuel
•Repairsoradjustmentsduetothefollowing:
–Contaminantsinthefuelsystem
–Failuretoperformtherequiredmaintenanceand/oradjustments
–Rotarymowerbladestrikinganobject
–Improperstartingprocedures
•Productfailuresresultingfromtheuseofmodiedorunapprovedaccessories
ornon-T oroparts.
•Failurescausedbyoutsideinuence,including,butnotlimitedto,weather;
storagepractices;contamination;ortheuseofunapprovedcoolants,lubricants,
additives,orchemicals
GeneralConditions
AllrepairscoveredbythesewarrantiesmustbeperformedbyanAuthorizedToro
ServiceDealerusingToroapprovedreplacementparts.RepairbyanAuthorizedToro
ServiceDealerisyoursoleremedyunderthiswarranty.
NeitherTheToroCompanynorToroWarrantyCompanyisliableforindirect,
incidental,orconsequentialdamagesinconnectionwiththeuseofthe
ToroProductscoveredbythesewarranties,includinganycostorexpense
ofprovidingsubstituteequipmentorserviceduringreasonableperiodsof
malfunctionornon-usependingcompletionofrepairsunderthesewarranties.
Allimpliedwarranties,includingmerchantabilityandtnessforaparticular
purpose,arelimitedtothedurationoftheexpresswarranty.
Somestatesdonotallowexclusionsofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,or
limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheaboveexclusionsmaynot
applytoyou.
Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegalrights,andyoumayalsohaveotherrights
whichvaryfromstatetostate.
CountriesOtherthantheUnitedStatesorCanada
CustomerswhohavepurchasedT oroproductsoutsidetheUnitedStatesorCanada
shouldcontacttheirT oroAuthorizedServiceCentertoobtainwarrantypoliciesfor
yourcountry,province,orstate.Foradditionalquestionsregardingwarrantyterms
andconditions,youmaycontactT oroWarrantyCompany.
AustralianConsumerLaw
OurgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.Y ouareentitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajorfailureand
compensationforanyotherreasonablyforeseeablelossordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedorreplacedifthegoodsfailtobeofacceptablequalityand
thefailuredoesnotamounttoamajorfailure.
