ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily—Inspect
thegrassdeectorfordamage.
WARNING
Anuncovereddischargeopeningcouldallow
thelawnmowertothrowobjectsatyouor
bystandersandresultinseriousinjury.Also,
contactwiththebladecouldoccur.
Neveroperatethelawnmowerunlessyou
installamulchplate,dischargedeector,or
grasscollectionsystem.
Inspectthegrassdeectorfordamagebeforeeach
use.Replaceanydamagedpartsbeforeuse.
1.Disengagethespringfromthenotchinthe
deectorbracketandslidetherodoutofthe
weldeddeckbrackets,spring,anddischarge
deector(Figure67).
