Maintenance
Changing the Blades (Rear Discharge Mower Deck)
Removal
Replace the blade if it hits an object, if the blade is out of balance, or if the blade is bent. To ensure optimum
performance and continued safety conformance of the machine, use genuine Toro replacement blades.
Replacement blades made by other manufacturers may result in non-conformance with safety standards.
1. Hold the spindle shaft with a wrench.
2. Remove the left and center blade bolt, curved washer, and blade from the spindle shaft (Figure 36).
3. Remove the right blade bolt (left hand threaded bolt), curved washer, and blade from the spindle shaft (Figure
36).
