completecollectionsystemmountedinplace,
youandothersareexposedtobladecontact
andthrowndebris.Contactwiththerotating
mowerblade(s)andthrowndebriswillcause
injuryordeath.
•Alwaysinstallthegrassdeectorwhen
youremovethecollectionsystemand
changetoside-dischargemode.
•Ifthegrassdeectoriseverdamaged,
replaceitimmediately.Thegrassdeector
routesmaterialdowntowardtheturf.
•Neverputyourhandsorfeetunderthe
mower.
•Nevertrytoclearthedischargeareaor
mowerbladesunlessyoumovethepower
takeoff(PTO)tooffandrotatetheignition
keytooff.Alsoremovethekeyandpull
thewireoffthesparkplug(s).
•Turnofftheenginebeforeuncloggingthe
dischargechute.
•Neveruseyourhandstounclogthe
dischargechute,useastickorsimilar
object.
CAUTION
Childrenorbystandersmaybeinjuredifthey
moveorattempttooperatethetractorwhile
itisunattended.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkeyandsetthe
parkingbrakewhenleavingthemachine
unattended,evenifjustforafewminutes.
AdjustingtheBafe
AdjustthebafetopositionB(middleposition)for
bagging.RefertotheOperator’sManualforthe
machineforthebafeadjustmentprocedure.
