Procedure
WARNING
Anuncovereddischargeopeningcouldallowthe
lawnmowertothrowobjectsatyouorbystanders,
resultinginseriousinjury.Also,contactwiththe
bladecouldoccur.
•Neveroperatethelawnmowerunlessyouinstall
acoverplate,amulchplate,oragrasschuteand
catcher.
•Makesurethatthegrassdeectorisinstalled
whenthegrasschuteandcatcherareremoved.
1.Removethesidedischargechutefromthemowerdeck
(Figure16).
Note:Saveallthehardwareandthesidedischarge
chute.Installthesidedischargechutewhenthebagger
andblowerareremoved.
