4.Cleanthedebrisfromthescreen.
5.Closethebaggerhood.

1.Washtheinsideandoutsideofthebaggerhood,bags,
tube,andtheundersideofthemowerdeck.Useamild
automotivedetergenttoremovedirt.
2.Makesurethatyouremovemattedgrassfromallparts.
3.Afterwashingalltheparts,letthemdrythoroughly.
Note:Withallpartsinstalled,startandrunthemachinefor
aminutetoassistindrying.

Checkbeltsforcracks,frayededges,burnmarksoranyother
damage.Replacedamagedbelts.
ReplacingtheBlowerBeltfor
60-and72-inchMachines
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-controllevers
totheNEUTRAL-LOCKEDposition,andsettheparking
brake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Pullbackonthespring-loadedidlerpulleytorelieve
thebelttension(Figure42).
4.Removetheexistingbaggerbeltfromthemower-deck
pulleyandthentheblowerpulleys.
5.Installthenewbeltaroundtheblowerpulleysandthe
mower-deckpulley(Figure42).
