1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotioncontrolleversto

theneutrallockedposition,andsettheparkingbrake.

2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving

partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.

3.Repairallbentordamagedareasofthemowerdeck

andreplaceanymissingparts.

4.Cleanthemowerofanydebrisonthedeckorrearpart

ofthemowertoeaseinstallation.

6. Install the pulley mount into the spindle pulley (Figure 5). 3 7. Install the three (blower pulley) nuts so that they are finger tight (Figure 5). Installing the Pulley Assembly 8. Install the pulley mount/spindle pulley assembly onto the deck (Figure 5). Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Pulley assembly 1 Pulley mount 3 Locknuts (3/8 inch) 9. Install the existing pulley washer and nut on the pulley spindle (Figure 5). Note: Torque the nut to 136–149 N-m (100–110 ft-lb) 10.
