Donotoperatethelawnmowerunlessyouinstalla
coverplate,amulchplate,grassdeectororbagger.
1.Removethelocknut,thebolt,thespring,andthespacer
holdingthedeectortothepivotbrackets(Figure100).
2.Removethedamagedorworngrassdeector(Figure
100).

1.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),movethe
motion-controlleverstotheneutral-lockedposition,
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisethemowertothetransportposition.
DisposingofWaste
Engineoil,batteries,hydraulicoil,andenginecoolantare
pollutantstotheenvironment.Disposeoftheseaccordingto
yourstateandlocalregulations.
