DESCRIPTION
This Front Weight Kit is designed for use on 300 and
400 Series tractors and is intended as a
counter–balance for rear mount attachments. The two
bolt–on weights each weigh 28 lbs Total weight of
the Kit is 65 lbs.
The weight frame, with weights attached, can easily
be removed when they are no longer needed as a
counter–balance.
Always make sure weight frame and weights
are pr operly secur ed before operating
tractor. Remove weights when they are no
longer needed as a counter–balance for an
attachment.
INSTALLATION
1. Locate four holes on sides of front frame channel
(Fig. 1) On some models there may be a PTO
cover bracket mounted to the right hand front
hole. If so remove this bracket and save for
reinstallation later. In the rear two holes secure
spacers to frame sides with 3/8–16 x 1 1/4” (32
mm) bolts, washers and flange nuts.
