Neverremovethedischargetube,bags,bagger
hood,orthechutewhiletheengineisrunning.
Alwaysshuttheengineoffandwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeclearingan
obstructionfromthebaggingsystem.
Neverperformmaintenanceorrepairswhilethe
engineisrunning.
EmptyingtheGrassBags
Becarefulwhenliftingorhandlingagrassbagthatisfull.To
emptythegrassbags:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagetheblade-controlswitch,engagetheparking
brake,andmovethemotion-controlleversoutwardto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Raisethebaggerhood(Figure32).

6.Withbothhands,liftuponthebagandunhookitfrom
theretainingbracket,emptythebag.
7.Repeattheprocedurefortheotherbag.

rotatingandcancutofforinjurehandsandngers.
Beforeadjusting,cleaning,repairingand
inspectingtheblower,andbeforeunclogging
thechute,turnofftheengineandwaitforall
movingpartstostop.Removethekey.
Useastick,notyourhands,toremovean
obstructionfromtheblowerandtube.
Keepyourface,hands,feet,andanyotherpart
ofyourbodyorclothingawayfromconcealed,
moving,orrotatingparts.
